Blood of Christ

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God,
purify your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.
– Hebrews 9:14

This verse is one of the few where we read of the Trinity. Jesus willfully obeyed the will of the Father and shed His blood for all mankind. Before Christ’s sacrifice, priests offered animals to atone for sin—rituals repeated year after year, never fully cleansing the soul. After the crucifixion, Jesus opened the way for us to enter the Holy of Holies – through His own blood. Through Him, the veil was torn, and we were invited into the Holy of Holies, not by ritual, but by relationship.
The blood of Christ does more than forgive—it transforms. It purifies our conscience, freeing us from dead works—acts done without faith, love, or life—and calls us into living service. As Christians, we know that Jesus is the only sacrifice we ever need; sacrifices of animals were never a permanent way towards redemption. Through the Holy Spirit, we become children of God (Romans 8:16). And as children, we bear fruit—not for ourselves, but for the Kingdom. We are called to be light in the darkness, to draw others toward the One who gave everything. We are called to be a light to the world, to help brings others out of the darkness.
We serve El Chay, the Living God—ever-present, ever-faithful. Even when we feel lost, He is near. He is El Olam, the Everlasting God (Isaiah 40:28), whose strength never fails and whose wisdom never fades.
